ABOUT THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HISPANIC REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS

The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals(NAHREP) is a non-profit 501c6 trade association with 14,000 members in 48 states across the nation. The Washington D.C. based organization has 56 affiliate chapters throughout the U.S. including: Florida, California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, New Mexico, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.

Founded in 1999 by veteran real estate professionals Ernie Reyes and Gary Acosta, NAHREP's mission is to increase Hispanic homeownership rates by empowering the advisors that serve them. Specifically, this is accomplished in a variety of ways by providing members a networking and information forum along with educational tools that enable them to work effectively with the cultural distinctions of their clients.

A board of directors and advisory and executive committees govern NAHREP and include highly successul practitioners, entrepreneurs, former government appointed officials and industry leaders from Fortune 100 companies. Visit NAHREP at www.nahrep.org

 ABOUT THE COLLIER-LEE AFFILIATE CHAPTER

Formed in June 2006 the Collier-Lee Chapter, Inc of The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals(NAHREP) is a non-profit 501c6 trade association. Founding members from both Collier and Lee counties joined forces and thus the name Collier-Lee was created. Covering part of Southwest Florida, chapter members come from Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Springs, South and North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, and Cape Coral.

The organization reaches out to professionals in all of the real estate-related industries. It provides a forum to foster the empowerment of said professionals as well as the Hispanic real estate consumer, through educational, cultural, social and economic platforms.

Their goal and objective is to develop a network of committed advisors that will assist in creating a knowledgeable, assertive and competitive Hispanic real estate consumer. To help create sustainable homeownership through educational seminars, workshops, and community outreach for real estate professionals and for the Hispanic consumer.

Applying members are encouraged to become familiar with "En Confianza: The NAHREP Code of Trust" which was unveiled as part of a strategy to ensure that every American home buyer is served based on the highest industry standards. Tino Diaz, NAHREP Vice-Chairman says "NAHREP's Code of Trust responds to the ethics of our members and ensures that they set an example for the industry as a whole. En Confianza sets requirements for four groups of professionals - mortgage originators; licensees and realtors; builders; and providers of title, escrow, home inspection, and closing services."

NAHREP Collier-Lee, Inc.'s Board of Directors come from the real estate, title and banking industries with 50+ years of combined experience.
